Death is the physical manifestation of mortal end life. He acts as a courier for souls between plains of existence with several other spirits working both beneath or along side him. He met Jason while he was collecting an alcohol poisoning at the college campus where Jason was studying. Death was impressed by Jason's lack of superstition and ability to interact with him despite being on a different plain of existence. They became friends and, when Jason was looking for a shop Death helped him find a location that was at a nexus point between plains so that he could assist with the business.

She has been holding down a job as a waitress since highschool where she makes barely enough money to support herself and her child.

He has yet to be convicted of a crime, but more due to luck than cunning follow through. Despite his infidelity he remains very posessive of Sarah and protective of his child.

Moonblossom is one of Jason's leading competitors mostly due to her "life-partner," a popular physician in the area, and not due to her actual knowledge in working new age medicine. Instead she buys into many of the false new age fads, without proper research into their validity. Moonblossom takes her work far to seriously, especially for something that doesn't work, and is really more of a hobby than job.
